When Alana was little, her mom would help her fall asleep with yoga nidra. Maybe that’s why she actively sought out the physical practise when she was 19. The first classes she took where in a suburban lounge with an old hatha yogi (granny). And from there the practise has danced in and out of her life. Becoming a home where she can rest, learn, grow and nourish her soul.
She studied to become a vinyasa yoga teacher at The Shala in Cape Town in 2013. And is also a certified Bowen practitioner. For her the breath is everything. Movement and discovering the mysteries of the body, her big-time passion.
Alanas is one special soul. Her classes are so indescribably authentic, that one has experience it to see.
